My background lies primarily in modern European philosophy, especially from 康德 through the twentieth century, focusing on strands of contemporary Continental thought – phenomenology, 存在主义, 诠释学, and deconstruction. My principal research efforts are directed towards philosophical 诠释学 and the philosophy of art, particularly in light of the work of Martin 海德格尔 and Hans-Georg 伽达默尔.
